FOUNDER | Studio Director

After years of experience in the competitive dance world, Mrs. Tiffanie has answered the call to open a Christian dance and creative arts studio, The Worship Movement.

DIRECTOR OF STUDENT DEVELOPMENT & SAYCRED COMPANY DIRECTOR

Mrs. Christian leads our Jazz department. A UNCG graduate with a B.A. in Dance Education; Minor in Entrepreneurship. She teaches Jazz, Lyrical, Elements of Choreo & Improv, and Strength and Technique. Mrs. Christian’s dance journey has constantly reminded her to trust in God’s timing, as He has the best plan of all!

HEAD OF HIP HOP DEPARTMENT

Mrs. Cora is celebrating her fifth year instructing at our studio! NWSA alumna, studied Martha Graham technique at CPCC, part-time fitness instructor, dancer for 10 years, worshipper for life.

She instructs Hip Hop, Fusion, Encounter I, and Musical Theater along with being Adult Class Lead. Her goal: to encourage dancers to discover their strength and God-given potential while building their foundation upon encountering the Lord.

HEAD OF ACRO DEPARTMENT

Ms. Carey Ann taught Middle School PE and worked as an athletic trainer covering all athletics as well as Cirque and dance. She has experience working with professional athletes as a student athletic trainer. Through her masters program at the University of South Carolina she found a love for teaching gymnastics and dance. Ms. Carey Ann has taken the Acrobatic Arts Level One certification and looks forward to adding more in this area soon. Teaching at the Worship Movement has allowed Ms Carey Ann to not only teach dance but to also share Jesus with so many precious dancers.

HEAD OF MODERN DEPARTMENT

Miss Joey is a Central Oregon native who began performing at a young age. She started training in dance at the age of 14 and developed a love for teaching. Joey is classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern dance. She holds a BFA in Dance from Belhaven University. Joey is also a certified Pilates instructor.

Her big girl job is working full-time for a nonprofit. She absolutely ADORES her students and is thankful God has placed her at the Worship Movement for this season. (And she really, REALLY loves hugs!

HEAD OF BALLET DEPARTMENT

Mrs. Shannon began dancing at age 11 at the Greenville Civic Ballet. She went on to dance with the Wilmington Ballet Company and the Christian company, Dance Reverence. She has taught with The Wilmington Ballet School and The Dance Cooperative. She received her Associates in Practical Theology from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas TX, where she met her husband Michael, who is also a teacher at The Worship Movement. When she isn’t in the studio she can be found homeschooling her two children or creating unique latte recipes.

HIP HOP INSTRUCTOR

Mr. Michael went from sports jock to thespian late in high school, began dancing with companies within DFW TX and Houston TX. Michael maintained his dance background while in bible college at CFNI and Youth for the Nations becoming the creative arts and dance director for 2 years at the youth camp. He continued teaching classes within CFNI afterwards. Today Michael is a fun-loving corporate bank AVP dad that gets the party started as a Wedding Dj all over the east coast, and TX for the past 10+ years. He is looking forward to bringing his technical expertise and sharpening his students’ skills within hip hop: gliding, isolation, and popping are his specialty!

BALLET, LYRICAL, & ENCOUNTER INSTRUCTOR

Mrs. Amy happily instructs Little Lights Combo, Lyrical, Ballet, and Encounter. She has BA in Elementary Education, Minor in Teaching English as a Second Language, Dancer for 15 years, Dance Instructor for 7 years.

CONTEMPORARY INSTRUCTOR

Mrs. Nicole is a life-long dancer! She started her dance journey at age two, and never stopped. A UNCC Alumina with a degree in marketing. She is a dance student of 16 years with a certification in nutrition. She has a passion for whole-being wellness, and loves being a Functional Nutrition Coach when she is not at the studio.

She teaches Contemporary, Lyrical, and Ballet.

CONTEMPORARY & BALLET INSTRUCTOR

Miss Chase began dancing at Zion Center for Worship and the Arts in Charlotte where she stayed until going to Winston-Salem and studying at the UNC School of the Arts for a portion of high school. Graduating with a contemporary focus in dance, Chase enrolled at Central Piedmont Community College as a Dance major in the Associate in Fine Arts program. Currently, Chase is attending the UNCC to pursue her B. A. in Dance Education. She plans to teach and choreograph as much as she can, using her gifts to glorify the Lord and grow students’ knowledge of dance skills in contemporary and ballet

BALLET, TAP, & CREATIVE MOVEMENT INSTRUCTOR

Mrs. Kristen started dancing at the age of 3 and continued through college performing in productions at Western Michigan University and with Wellspring Modern Dance in Kalamazoo, MI. She loves her husband and four daughters, homeschooling, working on her farm, and is so grateful for this dream opportunity to teach at the Worship Movement!

CONTEMPORARY, SAYCRED, & ENCOUNTER INSTRUCTOR

Bri a NC native, grew up in the competitive dance world (over 10 years). After graduating high school, she moved to California and received additional training and certification at Bethel Conservatory of the Arts as well as degree in Fine Arts. During her time there she was the assistant director of Commūne Dance Company and taught dance courses at Bethel College.

She has a high value for His presence, creativity and pursuing excellence. She loves to create a safe space where students can challenge themselves and grow in and outside of the studio! And she is super excited about this next season with the Worship Movement family!

ART INSTRUCTOR

With an associates in art, Mrs. Katherine has been with the studio from the beginning, assisting and leading in The Worship Movement’s growth. She instructs art classes for ages 7-13 years old.

VOICE & THEATRE INSTRUCTOR

Miss Miakla has a BA in education with music emphasis from Vanguard University of Southern CA, classical vocal training in college, grew up in a musical family, 1 year of training and ministry with Entourage (Vanguard University comedy sketch team), 1 yr of Biblical training at CGI England, Rita Springer’s Dive Worship School, 12 years of teaching K-12- theatre, music, & directing theatrical productions. Worship pastor at Newsong Church since 2015.
